Whats up with Nitrogen-Filled Tires?? Just recently our dealership began filling our tires with Nitrogen. Basically, A Nitrogen filled tire is a safer tire. There seems to be much less upkeep with them. Nitrogen filled tires can maintain proper inflation levels longer than air filled tires, this process can help extend tire life (up to 30%), it helps to ensure better gas mileage, and helps to reduce wheel and tire corrosion.
