Toyota Safety Sense™ 2.0: Lane Tracing Assist
The goal is to make things easier for the driver and be especially beneficial during traffic jams. The feature is only available with automatic transmission and cannot be equipped on models with manual transmission. Currently, the only Toyota model that offers this system is the 2019 Toyota Corolla Hatchback, though there are plans to bring it to other models in the future.
The system works when the Full-Speed Range Dynamic Radar Cruise Control is on and the lane markers on the road are visible. You can then turn the system off by using the Multi-Informational Display. Lane Tracing Assist will then use the lane markers and the preceding vehicles to keep the vehicle centered in the lane. It will also display your vehicle’s position on the Multi-Informational Display screen for your convenience.
