The 2017 Toyota Camry has three engine options available for drivers to choose from. The standard engine is a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine that reaches up to 178 horsepower. Drivers can choose to upgrade to a 3.5-liter V6 engine option that can get up to 268 horsepower. A hybrid engine is also available, with Hybrid Synergy Drive® offering a combined output of the gas and electric motors of an impressive 200 horsepower.
The gas engine options are coupled with a 6-speed Electronically Controlled automatic overdrive Transmission with intelligence (ECT-i) and sequential shift mode. The hybrid engine has an electronically controlled Continuously Variable Transmission (ECVT).
