The 4Runner comes equipped with a 4.0-liter V6 engine that reaches 270 horsepower and 278 lb.-ft. of torque. It has available two different 4-wheel drive systems: part-time 4WD with Active Traction Control (A-TRAC) and full-time 4WD with A-TRAC and Torsen® limited-slip center differential with locking feature. Traction is improved with the Kinetic Dynamic Suspension System (KDSS) and Crawl Control (CRAWL), and Multi-terrain Select allows you to choose from four modes that will help to provide you with maximum traction in a variety of off-road situations.
